We run several events
each year such as Coffee Mornings, Quay Sales and
Street Collections. Just across the water
is Hayling Island Lifeboat Station. The crew
are always happy to come and join in, shouts
permitting, of course! A lovely group of
volunteers, each giving their time in various ways
to “Save Lives at Sea”! The committee meets
most months, on the first Monday afternoon, but
membership of the committee is not essential.
Our meetings and many of our activities take place
at the beautiful Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club, Quay
Mill, South Street, PO10 7EQ. (Used to be
called The Flint Barn.)
We are always looking for
new volunteers so if you can spare a few hours of
your time please contact Karen

The annual Carol Singing took place on a
beautiful winter’s day on Saturday 20 December at 11 am. A large
crowd attended in support of the RNLI and sang heartily, ably
led by the excellent Village Voices Choir. We would like to
thank Councillor Lulu Bowerman, organiser of the event and Vince
Lavender, the Chairman of the Choir for their support. We would
also Iike to thank Flintstones
Tearooms who provided some delicious mulled wine and hot
chocolate. RNLI 'Stormy Stan' also paid us
very welcome visit. This
is the sixth year the event has taken place and it becomes even
more popular. It raised a magnificent
sum of E738.31in support of the RNLI.Many thanks.
