Thanks for all your support
On Saturday, December 6, the
Emsworth Christian Aid Working Party and members of the
local churches sang carols to raise money for Christian Aid.
It was a damp morning in Emsworth
Square, with very few people about, but the very generous
Emsworth folk helped us raise £141.74. During the morning,
we were invited into the Pastoral Centre for a cup of
coffee.
Havant Borough Council issued the Street Collection Permit to Margaret Sawyer, secretary of the Working Party, a group of people representing the main Churches in Emsworth who work together to raise money and promote the work of Christian Aid.
Our aim is to give the people of
Emsworth the opportunity to contribute to making a
difference to the lives of those who have been displaced and
the poorest people of the world, with the emphasis on
enabling them to help themselves.
I should like to thank all those
Emsworth people who supported us and look forward to your
continued support during 2026.
Gill Cooper Chair of the Christian
Aid Working Party
