There will be weekend and overnight closures for repairs to
a bridge over the A27 between Emsworth and Havant Motorists
are being informed there will be several full weekend and
overnight closures for the second phase of our repairs and
maintenance to a bridge on the A27 in Hampshire.
The bridge located on the A27 goes over Wade Court Road
between Havant and Emsworth. Essential work includes
replacing bridge joints, waterproofing, resurfacing, and
replacement of the central concrete barrier. Please note
this will generate some noise for which we apologise in
advance.
Drivers should allow extra time during their journeys and
follow the official diversion route signposted.
Our first weekend closure will be on the westbound
carriageway, details as follows:
Full westbound weekend closure:
9pm Friday 13 September to 6am Monday 16 September
From Monday 16 September for four nights there will be
overnight closures on the westbound carriageway.
Full eastbound weekend closure:
9pm Friday 20 September to 6am Monday 23 September
From Monday 23 September for four nights there will be
overnight closures on the eastbound carriageway.
Diversion for traffic in both directions
Eastbound traffic will be diverted via Park Road
South, Park Road North, B2149, Bartons Road, Horndean Road,
Southleigh Road and Emsworth Road. Westbound traffic will
follow the same route in the opposite direction.
