You will be spoilt for choice!

It is possible to enjoy a quiet drink  in one of the nine pubs,  a good meal in one of five excellent restaurants and a cup of tea and a cake in one of five cafes.  Fresh provisions can be purchased in either of the two butchers, the fish mongers and in the  greengrocers.

The town is firmly on the culinary map. from 2001 to 2007 Emsworth was home to an annual Food Festival where where visitors enjoyed a wonderful atmosphere of sights, tastes and sounds including over 1pp food stalls and street entertainment over three hedonistic days!

Today you can still capture some of this atmosphere at the special events in Emsworth's restaurants and pubs.  The Coal exchange has its "Coalie Fest"  twice a year in Spring and Autumn with live music, special menus and real ales and the sussex Brewery arranges a Glstonbrewery Festival in August.

In 2012,or the first time, during the fortnight September 14th -30th   "WEMSFEST" a music, food and arts festival will take place,  in Emsworth and the near by village of Westbourne.
