Emsworth Arts Trail
Emsworth
Arts Trail was first established in 2001 with just six artists
opening up their studios to the public. Interest in the event and
participation grew year on year and the Trail was adopted as part of
the Havant Arts Trail from 2004 - 2011. In 2012 Emsworth decided to
revert to an independent trail enabling it to engage directly with
local businesses and community. It also enabled the number of
artists taking part to flourish. This year, over 150 artists will
display their work throughout the village during the course of two
weekends on 28th & 29th April and 5th,
6th
& 7th
May 2018
Emsworth Arts Trail offers the chance to see and meet designers,
painters and makers in their own homes and studios. Churches,
community halls, pubs and shops also act as exhibition space to
bring a blaze of creativity to every corner of the town.
An interactive website and Trail Guide are produced with a clear map
and information about each of the artists taking part. The guide
will lead visitors on a fascinating tour of paintings, ceramics,
photography, jewellery, textiles, furniture and more throughout
Emsworth.
